Denominational Affiliation - PCA
In 1986, College Hill jointed the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). The PCA was founded in 1973 as a denomination committed to providing a Biblical, Evangelical and Reformed witness for Christ. There are currently approximately 1300 churches and over 300,000 members in the PCA and it is one of the fastest growing churches in North America.
Presbytery - Covenant
Covenant Presbytery is one of 78 regional divisions of the Presbyterian Church in America, a denomination that strives to be faithful to the Scriptures, true to the Reformed faith, and obedient to the Great Commission. Our presbytery spans most of Arkansas and portions of Mississippi, Missouri, and Tennessee, and currently includes 48 churches and 4 missions.
We have three scheduled meetings each year hosted by a local church. These are held on the first Tuesday in February, the fourth Tuesday in May, and the first Tuesday in October, and always begin at 9:30 a.m. At each of these meetings we begin with a worship service, which includes a celebration of the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper at the February and October stated meetings.
