Westminster Confession of Faith

The Westminster Confession of Faith is a reformed confession of faith in the Calvinist theological tradition.

It was drawn up in 1646 over a period of several years by the Westminster Assembly to offer a better understanding of God's word.

The assembly also created both the Shorter Catechism and Longer Catechism.
